Pricing FAQ

Common questions about our plans

Why doesn't TaleForge charge for AI?+
Because you use your own API key. You pay your AI provider directly, at their price, and TaleForge adds nothing on top.
Do I need to pay for AI tokens separately?+
Yes. You use your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Google key. Most writers spend $1-5 a month, depending on how much they use the AI.
Can I switch plans anytime?+
Absolutely. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. No lock-in contracts.
What happens to my projects if I downgrade?+
Your projects are safe. You keep access to everything you've created. You just can't create new ones beyond the free limit.
Is there a student or educator discount?+
Not yet, but we're working on it! Join our Discord to be notified when education plans launch.
Do you offer refunds?+
Yes, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. No questions asked.
